Operation

We have 2 groups with a maximum 22 children in each group - Beginning of week and End of week.
We operate a 5 day fortnight:

• Beginning of Week group – Mondays, Tuesdays, alternate Wednesdays - 8.45am to 2.45pm

• End of Week group – alternate Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays - 8.45am to 2.49pm

The Kindergarten operates over four terms per year which align​ with the Queensland State School calendar, so the centre is closed during school holidays and public holidays.

Fees

All eligible-age children can receive the kindergarten program for 15 hours per week or 30 hours a fortnight (600 hours a year) for FREE!  

​Enrolment Fee: $55.00 (includes $5 membership fee)

​Each family is required to be a financial member of the Jimboomba Community Kindergarten Association Inc, to which a membership fee of $5.00 is attached (included in the Enrolment Fee).  Being a member of the Association gives families the ability to nominate for and vote on committee positions at our Annual General Meeting.

Jimboomba Community Kindergarten is a Registered Care Provider.

We will contact you during Term 3 (around June/July) of the year before your child is due to attend to offer a place.

How We are Funded

​Funding is received from the Queensland Government, through our Central Governing Body, Lady Gowrie (Qld) Inc which funds our government approved Kindergarten program for each eligible child in our centre.
